Summary: This research study aimed to educate micro business enterprises in Quiapo, Manila concerning the single-entry system as a tool for recording and monitoring financial data. The study assessed the perceptions of micro business enterprises before and after implementing the single-entry system. Quantitative research design, specifically quasi-experimental research design, was used to gather necessary data from micro business enterprises in Quiapo, Manila. The micro business enterprises' responses provided an understanding of how micro business enterprises are knowledgeable in the single-entry system. Before implementing the single-entry system, the findings showed the single-entry system was not/less effective for micro business enterprises. Educating the micro business enterprises about the single-entry system resulted in effective/very effective results. However, problems encountered became weaknesses during the implementation of the single-entry system. This study recommended the use of the single-entry system not just for micro business enterprises in Quiapo, Manila but also for the nearby marketplaces. The single-entry system contributes to achieving the goal of micro business enterprises towards effective and efficient business operations. It addresses certain requirements in legalizing the business operations such as local government units' requirements.
